Asia – Educator

Ashok is currently Chief referee at the Wrestling Federation of India. He is a category IS UWW referee and was promoted a UWW referee educator in 2018. He has 24 years of experience as a national referee and 13 as an international one.

He started wrestling at the age of 10. He joined the Indian Air Force in 1985 and competed at the Indian Armed Forces National Level Championships (inter-services) for 6 years. He won a freestyle bronze medal in 1990 in 74kg.

He was coach of the Indian Armed Forces team for 7 years.
