Igor Ligay

Igor studied at the Department of Physical Culture and Sports at the University of Aulie-Ata in Kazakhstan. From 1992 to 2010, he competed as a Greco-Roman wrestling. He was a Greco-Roman coach from 2010 to 2018 at the Kazhymukan Children’s Sport School. In 2018, he began coach Greco-Roman wrestling at the Olympic Training Center in Saryagash. 

 In 2015, he obtained the highest referee category (IS). In 2018, he refereed the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires. He also refereed at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
