Neven Zugaj was a very successful wrestler for Croatia.  He earned a silver and bronze medal at the world championships in 2011 and 2014.  Nevan also competed at the London Olympics in 2012.

While competing, Neven earned a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology and a degree as a wrestling coach.  Also during this time, Nevan completed Officer School for the Croatian Military.  He served as a First Lieutenant until 2014.

After he left the military, Neven became a full-time wrestling coach.  He has coached at the club level and held many positions for the Croatian National Team.  Nevan is currently the Head Coach for the U20 National Team.
